Common activities causing repetitive strains
Slippery floors within their living environment
Ball chasing (likewise stick/frisbee)
Car jumping in and out
Always told to ‘sit’
Running with your dog
Cycling with your dog
Always walking on one side when on a lead
Doing the same activity or training
Going up and down steps or stairs
Jogging or running with a person or person on bike

Physically, walking is SO important, not always trotting or flat out running. Walking is one of the most healthy gaits for us and for dogs and yet we train them to trot as puppies. Walk is a four-time gait, they use each of their legs separately, ensuring each limbs’ function is fulfilled.
Allowing them to sniff, use their free will, explore in their own time and not just in the usual places, is highly rewarding and healthy for a dog both for their mind and body. The body position of sniffing is perfect for muscle development and a slow sniff really helps their core development and brain development.
